As storytellers, we live to move hearts and minds but it’s not every day you get to make a real difference. That’s why we at Creativa were proud to contribute to the #BidForMaddie No Reserve Charity Auction, which raised over $700,000 for research into bone marrow disease.
We supported Fairhaven Homes, who generously donated a home and land package, to promote the event and capture the action – video content that can be now be used to raise awareness of crippling and debilitating illnesses.
Producer Kathleen Reynolds, who managed the project from end to end, described the privilege of working on such an important project.
“It was an honour to produce content for such a deserving organisation. I was able to support Maddie’s Vision from the first promo video through to the charity auction itself, which was incredibly rewarding.”
The proceeds of the auction will go to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, a charity founded by footballer Nick Riewoldt, named for his sister who passed away at the age of twenty-six after a long battle with Aplastic Anaemia, a bone marrow disease.
