Before I buy a product, I want to know that I will be able to use it and specially try to avoid having to sell it on eBay for a quarter of the price after realising it was not what I thought it would be.
Luckily, knowledge really is everywhere these days and as consumers we are often able to learn how to use the product before making a purchasing decision.
With new technology, software platforms and apps, having this knowledge is a key factor in getting the sale over the line. A great way to combat these consumer demands’ is to produce a short video to introduce the product and show off a few of the key features and how it can be used. The idea is to engage and enhance the customer experience by giving the audience an overview of how the product is used, without having to delve into a full tutorial session.
The video should state the goal or problem, demonstrate how the product achieves that goal or solves that problem, and then show the end results. Providing this added information will help to not only improve the customer experience, but also to have a higher confidence in your product and brand. Here are 5 examples of different promotional videos that incorporate elements of introducing, showing and demonstrating the product to give you some inspiration. Enjoy!
